- A pure, dry Spatlese with hints of green herbs, white peach, and apricot through to a textured palate with a citrussy freshness reminiscent of grapefruit. Long and elegant.
2021 was the coldest and wettest growing season of the previous 20 years. Summer was mild and wet with temperatures rarely going over 21°C and vigilance in the vineyard was required to prevent disease. Harvest was late and produced fruit that was low in potential alcohol and high in beautifully integrated acidity, resulting in wines with excellent aging potential.
