Provence continues to be a significant part of our wine collection, with the remarkable success of Cotes de Provence. The pale and delicate style of rose wine has become dominant worldwide. Additionally, we are introducing new and exciting options from around the world, including Chile, Rioja, Sardinia, and Lebanon, providing consumers with a lighter, crisper alternative alongside the local favorites. France is widely recognized as one of the leading wine-producing countries in the world, with winemakers constantly developing new styles, aging techniques, and grape varieties.
Mirabeau
After years of dreaming, Jeany and Stephen made the decision to leave the leafy suburbs of South London behind in exchange for the blue skies and sunshine of Provence. Armed with big ambitions to make a world-class rosé wine, and willing to challenge established wisdom, they founded Maison Mirabeau. They embarked upon the ultimate family adventure and created one of the world’s most loved brands of rosé. Over the past 11 years, their close relationships with growers have allowed access to over 2,000 hectares of premium Provence vineyards, from which talented winemaker Guillaume Cordonis skilfully blends distinguished, rosé wines. With sustainability at the heart of everything they do, Maison Mirabeau is a Certified B Corp. Their wines capture the joie de vivre and elegance of the French Riviera, while conveying the quality, terroir and unique heritage of Provence.
Alpha Estate
Alpha Estate is located in Amyndeo, North West Greece. It is the brainchild of two visionaries, second generation vine grower Makis Mavridis and Bordeaux trained wine maker Angelos Iatrides. Angelos is one of the most talented winemakers working in Europe. This pristine estate in the cool highlands of Western Macedonia comprises 220 hectares of privately owned single block vineyards, which are certified sustainable, and employs the most up-to-date vineyard techniques and winemaking technology to produce world class wines from French and indigenous Greek varietals.
Château de Campuget
Château de Campuget was established in 1942 and is a top quality estate near Nîmes, which is steeped in history. The Château itself was built in 1753 and at the same time the first vines were planted, prompting the '1753' range of wines which mark this historic date. Now in the hands of winemaker Franck-Lin Dalle, who is the third generation of his family to run the estate, the fusion of tradition and progression unites in the cellars where Franck-Lin deftly crafts wines with integrity, finesse and a wonderful expression of terroir from a wide range of traditional Rhône varieties. In 2019, Château de Campuget was certified as Haute Valeur Environmentale, which officially recognises the environmental performance of winegrowers, including biodiversity conservation, plant protection strategies, managed fertiliser use and water resource management.
