Winery | The Chardonnay grapes come from a parcel of vines planted in silty, clayey soils, which have excellent water retention properties, nourishing the vines during the warm summers. The vines are carefully managed to ensure optimal conditions for healthy, mature grapes at harvest time; with strict desuckering, leaf thinning and ploughing of the soil. The vines are pruned according to the Guyot Poussard method, which respects the sap-flow of the vine, reducing the serious consequences of pruning cuts and optimises the vine health. The vineyards are managed respecting the environment and the biodiversity of the vineyard. The grapes are hand-picked at optimal maturity. |
