With a south-to-south-eastern orientation, the vineyard lines the Riquewihr hillside and has an average elevation of 250 meters above sea level. The vines are pruned according to the Guyot system, with a green harvest and meticulous canopy management to ensure good light penetration and airflow. The soils in the vineyard are made up of Vosges sandstone and muschelkalk. Dopff Au Moulin holds the Haute Valeur Environmental (HVE) certification, which officially recognizes the environmental performance of winegrowers, including biodiversity conservation, plant protection strategies, managed fertilizer use and water resource management.
