The beautiful Feudi di San Gregorio vineyards are spread out over lush and gentle hills in Sorbo Serpico, approximately an hour from Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The soils are uniquely volcanic, sandstone, and marl. Each vineyard is closely monitored with a meteorological station and combined with the technologies of the new state-of-the-art wine cellar; they ensure that each vintage comes as close to perfection as possible. The soil in the vineyard is predominantly chalky Tufo soil, which imparts wonderful elegance to the resulting wine. In accordance with the sustainable Equalitas certification, the vineyards are cultivated using ecological practices to maintain the equilibrium of the environment. Soil and fertilizer management strategies are employed, pesticides are not used, biodiversity is positively encouraged and weeding does not take place between the rows of vines
