- A bold and concentrated wine with lashings of ripe cherries and dried plums which are enhanced by notes of toasted bread and cedar. The powerful palate displays intense fruit flavors framed by structured tannins and a long, full finish.
The Okuzgozu and the Bogazkere grapes were fermented separately. The grapes were cool macerated for 48 hours before being fermented in stainless steel tanks over a period of 10 days. The wine was aged in oak barrels for 20 months comprising 20% new oak, of which 18% was American and 2% was French oak. The remaining 80% was neutral oak.
