Domaine of the Bee Les Genoux 2021
- Country France
- Region Maury AOP
- Grape Grenache, Grenache Gris, Carignan, Grenache Blanc, Carignan Blanc
- Case 12/75
- Abv 14%
- The addition of a small percentage of white grapes gives this a lift, accentuating the wild strawberry and raspberry notes. The palate is soft and lush, although there are still plenty of tannins here, and the finish is layered and complex, offering flavors of herbs and crushed stones alongside the ripe fruit.

Winery | Domaine of the Bee is a tiny patch of vineyards nestled in ancient Maury, in the Roussillon, owned by Justin Howard-Sneyd MW, his wife Amanda, and their friend Philippe Sacerdot. Domaine of the Bee produces between 3,000-8,000 bottles per year from just four hectares. The vineyards are on steep slopes packed with seriously gnarled vines between 60-100 years old. The hand-picked grapes make red wines that are deeply colored and full-bodied, but the occasional white and pink from local grapes varieties are also made with the help of winemaking neighbor Jean-Marc Lafage |
