- Fresh and lively citrus notes and apple blossom aromas combine with subtle spice and white pepper on this crisp, dry, smooth Pinot Blanc. 2022 was characterised as being a dry vintage, which resulted in an early harvest. The grapes were picked under good conditions, and the sun-kissed fruit was high quality.
Fermentation took place with selected yeasts under cool, temperature controlled conditions, in order to maintain the purity of fruit. Successive rackings were undertaken for clarification and then the wine was stored on its fine lees for five months in steel tanks, imparting texture and concentrating the flavours.
A crisp, dry and smooth Pinot Blanc with inviting aromas of yellow stone fruits layered with dried fruit notes through to a fresh palate culminating with a harmonious, salty tang on the finish.

Winery | The Alsace vineyards are situated in the foothills of the Vosges Mountains, extending over 160 kilometres, from Cleebourg in the north to Thann in the south. Situated on the fracture zone between the lowlands and the mountains, this feature generates variety of subsoils. The soils in this vineyard are marl and sandstone, the latter is rich in ironbased minerals. Protected by the Vosges Mountains, these vineyards have the lowest average annual rainfall of all French wine regions. The vines are Guyot pruned. Green harvesting in conjunction with strict canopy management, ensure good sunlight penetration and ventilation for the berries during the ripening period. The grapes are manually harvested once they have reached optimum maturity. They hold the Haute Valeur Environmentale (HVE) certification, which officially recognises the environmental performance of winegrowers, including biodiversity conservation, plant protection strategies, managed fertiliser use and water resource management. |
