Each component of the blend comes from carefully selected, high-altitude, cool-climate sites that produce grapes with aromatic complexity and beautiful freshness. The Sauvignon Blanc vineyard is located in the premium viticultural region of Gualtallary, where the vines are planted in calcareous soils at 1,400 metres above sea level. The Semillon grapes come from a low-yielding 50-year-old vineyard in La Consulta, where the vines grow at 1,000 metres elevation in sandy soils and produce rich, concentrated wines. The Chardonnay component comes from La Carrera which is located at 1,700 metres above sea level in sandy soils which are supported by gravel and boulder.
