The Chardonnay grapes were grown in the named plot of Le Limozin, which sits alongside some of the best Premier Cru vineyards in Meursault. The vines are farmed according to "La lutte raisonnee", using sustainable agriculture methods, reducing the use of chemicals to respect the land and its environment. The soils in the vineyard are limestone mixed with marl, retaining moisture in dry weather, but also offering good drainage in cooler weather.
