Winery	The grapes come from carefully selected vineyards located in Almendralejo, Badajo. The soils in this region are fertile due to their richness in nutrients. They are also rich in clay, offering great water retention properties that help sustain the vines throughout the warm growing season in this Mediterranean climate. The terrain has a practically flat relief, and the vines are grown at an average altitude of 200 and 450 metres above sea level. The vines benefit from a fairly dry climate, with mild winters and high temperatures during the summer, accentuated by the warm breezes known as the ‘East Wind’, which help to keep the vineyard ventilated and healthy. The general absence of spring frosts means the vines are not at risk during the flowering stages. The harvesting involves manual and machine harvesting, carried out delicately so the grapes and vines are not damaged. The vines are grown organically, without herbicides and pesticides, and the vineyard is converted to organic certification.
