- Intense fruit and toasted aromas blended with the mineral note typical of this appellation on the nose. A rich powerful wine with a strong personality. Excellent aging potential.
The Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is another success, unwinding to reveal notions of pear, orange oil, warm bread, toasted almonds, and fresh peach. Medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, it's lively and mineral, with a long, saline finish. This derives from holdings in the commune of Ladoix, above Bouchard's parcel in Le Corton in red.
