Vintage

While 2017 had a dry summer with lots of berries and not much juice, 2018 had enough occasional rain to fill the grapes with juice. The harvests took place under excellent conditions, delivering good quality crops and bringing 2018 in line with previous years; with the promise of a very good vintage.

Vineyard

The region of the Languedoc produces aromatic, fruity wines which represent the exceptional diversity of its terroirs. The foothills of the Corbières and of the Minervois, offer the ideal location for vine growing, where the vines are planted in clay limestone soils and surrounded by garrigue. They are bathed in sunshine and are influenced by the cooling Mediterranean Sea. This is the birthplace of the 6ème Sens, which carries the inimitable expression of the Southern French grape varieties. The result of the alchemy of climate and soil, 6ème Sens brings the perfect marriage of all the senses, to whirl you away into the discovery of your own sixth sense.

Winemaking

The grapes were hand-picked at optimal ripeness before being sorted and pneumatically pressed. The must underwent cold settling for 48 hours. Fermentation took place at controlled low temperatures in stainless steel tanks for maximum extraction of fruit. The wine was aged in stainless steel to retain the purity of the fruit prior to being bottled.
