The grapes for this cuvee come from 20 Crus from the Grands and Premiers Crus sites of the Champagne region. The Chardonnay comes predominantly from the Premier Cru of Vertus which contributes freshness and lemony notes, while the mineral dimension and flinty aromas, come from the Cru of Villers Marmery, which has a limestone soil. The Grands Crus and Premiers Crus villages of Chouilly, Avize, Oger and Vaudemange, complete the blend with strength and complexity. The Pinot Noir comes from the Grands Crus and Premiers Crus villages of Ay, Hautvillers, Avenay Val d'Or and Louvois; which produce light, tender and fruity wines, while the Pinot Meunier imparts a roundness and suppleness. A unique blend of terroirs, producing a unique Rose Champagne.
Champagne Collet with its elegant Art Deco packaging is evocative of the Belle Epoque era from when it was established. It is the oldest cooperative in Champagne, dating back to 1921. Since its inception, Collet has been creating Champagnes of character with authenticity, elegance and great finesse. Located in Aÿ, in the heart of the Champagne region, Collet represents some of the finest growers and mainly sources from vineyards which are based on Premiers and Grands Crus sites. Each cuvée reflects the diversity of the region’s terroirs and has been masterfully blended to suit gastronomic cuisine.
