Case size 12 /75cl - This wine displays an attractive and intense red ruby color, clean, and bright. Intense and complex aromas of ripe black fruit, such as black plum. Hints of coffee, cocoa, black licorice, and truffle. On the palate, it is elegant, round, full-bodied, and with a very long and smooth aftertaste.

Bodegas Valdemar is a family company whose roots date back to 1889, and whose Riojas has long been a reference point for the DO. Despite this their approach is very much forward-looking; having pioneered many techniques in the region, from barrel fermentation and temperature control to saignée-method rosado, their style tends towards the modern.
This wine matches perfectly with red meat, stews, and roasted food. Particularly suited for charcuterie and cured cheese.
