- A perfumed and elegant expression of Gevrey-Chambertin with violet and smooth red cherry notes and a lovely freshness.
The grapes for this cuvee come from the single vineyard Creux Brouillard, which translates as Hollow Fog in English. It is situated at the bottom of the slope where the deep limestone and clay soils are relatively cool and it is one of the last vineyards to be harvested in the village. The style from this vineyard tends to be lighter and fresher. Pierre believes in respecting the terroir; he ensures the yields are kept low and follows organic and biodynamic principles, taking into consideration the cycles of the moon and the sun.
