  • This Pinot Blanc offers a rich texture and a well-defined structure. It presents layered notes of bright lemon and lime zest, delicate floral blossoms, luscious white peach, and lively grapefruit. The wine is deliciously refreshing and features a subtle hint of spice on the finish, adding depth to the overall tasting experience.

This wine was made following a philosophy of minimal intervention. The grapes were carefully selected to ensure only the highest quality fruit was vinified before being whole bunch pressed straight to Burgundy barrels without settling. The wine underwent spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts for both alcoholic fermentation and malolactic conversion. The wine underwent frequent lees stirring, which imparted complexity and texture, followed by six months of maturation on the fine lees in French Burgundy barrels. The wine was bottled without any fining or filtration, which may result
in a subtly cloudy appearance, which adds to the charm of this wine.

A textured and structured Pinot Blanc with layered notes of lemon and lime zest, floral blossom, juicy white peach and zippy grapefruit notes. Deliciously refreshing, with subtle spice on the finish.

The grapes for this wine come from the single vineyard site of Crouch Valley Vineyard, which is situated on the coastal peninsula of Crouch Valley. Positioned on rolling hills overlooking the Crouch River Estuary, the vines are planted between the River Crouch and River Blackwater, where the microclimate is moderated by the surrounding water. The vineyard was planted in 2006 and is south-facing to optimize sunshine in the capricious English climate. The area is generally well-protected from frost and has low rainfall, producing high-quality fruit. The clay soils are cool, with good water retention properties to nourish the vines through the warm summers. The grapes are hand-picked into small crates at optimum maturity
