- Individual barrels are selected from the estate's small-production ‘Single Vineyard’ Pinot Noir program to seamlessly bring together 4 distinct ‘Terroirs’ to create a unique bottling of ‘Willamette Valley’ Pinot Noir. Each vineyard block is fermented separately in small batches with native yeasts before resting in French oak barrels for 11 months. Benefitting from additional time in barrel and bottle, this wine is rich and full-bodied, with fine-grained tannins, juicy strawberry and rose petals on the palate, and a refined finish As our flagship Pinot Noir, this wine expresses our entire estate’s dramatically diverse terroir. An outlier within the famous sub-region of the Dundee Hills AVA. This unique expression of Oregon Pinot Noir comes from one of the Willamette Valley’s most respected vineyards.

| Winery | Alexana was founded in 2005 by Dr Madiah Revana. He intended to make great wine (it always is!), but unlike in his Napa estate, where he looks at Cabernet, where he arrived to make cool climate wines to rival the great Pinots from Burgundy. Alexana is situated on a unique land where the volcanic and marine sedimentary soils merge in Oregon’s Dundee Hills AVA. Their position on the backside of the hills ensures that the vines are exposed to long hours of gentle Oregon sunshine tempered by the unobstructed cool coastal winds from the Pacific Ocean. The three-story, gravity-flow winery is perfect for making high-quality wines that beautifully express Oregon's best. |
