- Vibrant on the palate, this wine opens out to layers of weighty complexity, showing notes of stone fruit, apples, and a stunning, textured palate. On the nose, notes of fig and a red apple. Rich and rounded flavours on the palate present themselves with melon and citrus notes.

The Terroir Series has fresh, floral aromatics, including gardenias, wild roses, lemon tea and a few drops of rainwater. The palate is creamy and rich, with modest acidity and flavours like lemon chiffon cake, cantaloupe and thyme."

| Winery | Alexana was founded in 2005 by Dr Madiah Revana. He intended to make great wine (it always is!), but unlike in his Napa estate, where he looks at Cabernet, where he arrived to make cool climate wines to rival the great Pinots from Burgundy. Alexana is situated on a unique land where the volcanic and marine sedimentary soils merge in Oregon’s Dundee Hills AVA. Their position on the backside of the hills ensures that the vines are exposed to long hours of gentle Oregon sunshine tempered by the unobstructed cool coastal winds from the Pacific Ocean. The three-story, gravity-flow winery is perfect for making high-quality wines that beautifully express Oregon's best. |
