- A crisp, refreshing sparkling wine with a fine mousse and lifted aromas of white peach, elderflower, and delicate hints of sage. Beautifully balanced, with a charming and zesty finish.
Straw yellow with greenish reflections, fine and persistent perlage; intense and pleasant fruity aroma of white peach, floral notes of elder, and herbaceous hints of sage. The taste is fresh and crisp, round and well-balanced with a considerable personality and pleasantness A fresh and lively sparkling white wine, Charmat method. It is produced from a blend of white grapes cultivated in Salento. Liboll, when the occasion calls for bubbles or a casual aperitif. Liboll, as we like to call the bubbles in Puglia.
In 1962, 19 vine growers from San Marzano whose families had farmed the land for generations, combined their efforts to establish 'Cantine San Marzano'. Through the decades this cooperative has grown significantly, attracting over 1,200 top-quality vine growers. Using modern and technologically advanced vinification techniques they produce elegant wines that pay homage to the ancient Apulian wine traditions. The fusion of time-honored tradition, passion, and contemporary techniques, enables this winery to produce wines with distinctive varietal and regional characteristics while reflecting the local terroir. In 2021, San Marzano was awarded the ‘Cooperative Winery of the Year Award’ by Gambero Rosso.
