- Produced using the traditional Methode Champenoise technique, which involves a secondary fermentation in each bottle, this wine is made from 100% Cayuga White. Its delicate fruit character fills the mouth with ripe apple, pear, and honey flavors. The swirling, enchanting, tiny bubbles leave the mouth crisp and refreshed.
Hosmer Winery sits on the western shore of Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Begun by the family in the 30s and still very much a family-run business, they nowadays make about twenty thousand gallons of traditional vinifera and more unusual French-American hybrids. Hosmer wines have been recognized consistently over the years at regional and international competitions and by highly respected publications, including the Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine & Spirits, USA Today, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
