This sparkling wine is produced from carefully selected Chardonnay grapes originating from vineyards in the Loire Valley and the Languedoc regions. The climate in the Loire is cooler, and continental and produces fruit with naturally occurring crisp, fresh acidity. The grapes from the Languedoc benefit from the warm, Mediterranean climate, resulting in a richer style of fruit, which results in harmonious complexity when blended. Conventional viticulture is adopted at Bertrand de Monceny. The soils, vines, and grapes are nurtured throughout the vine growing and harvesting processes, to preserve the finesse, quality, and flavors that characterize this Chardonnay Brut.
