- On the nose, the wine has an expression of spices and graphite, classic characteristics of the Maipo Andes valley. In the mouth, it is smooth and elegant, with very good persistence and a long finish. Albis is a wine capable of expressing itself very well over the years.
The magnificent Haras de Pirque estate occupies a privileged position at the foot of the Andes, in Chile’s Maipo Valley region. The lovingly tended vineyards are on largely north-facing slopes, from the middle of which rises a unique horseshoe-shaped gravity-flow winery, inspired by the estate’s other claim to fame: as an internationally renowned thoroughbred breeding farm.
