- This rich and multifaceted wine blend exhibits various flavours and aromas. It boasts a delightful combination of ripe, dark fruits, such as blackberries, plums, and cherries, intertwined with the subtle sweetness of liquorice. The presence of minerals and spice adds depth and complexity to the overall profile, while oak ageing contributes notes of roasted wood. When savoured, these intricate aromas unfold on the palate, offering a velvety texture and well-integrated, fine-grained tannins. The wine culminates with a long, satisfying finish that gracefully embodies the elegant characteristics of the Tempranillo grape.
Vinification takes place purely by gravity, without the use of pumps and a philosophy of minimal intervention is followed to respect the characteristics of the fruit and its provenance. Fermentation occurred at carefully controlled temperatures with several daily tastings to achieve the desired characteristics, culminating in 24 days of maceration. The wines were transferred to French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels to mature for at least 18 months. For each vintage, a combination of 1/3 new barrels are used along with older ones to ensure the wine develops complexity and elegance for the years to come.
It is an intense and complex wine with delicious aromas of ripe, dark fruits, liquorice, minerals, spice, and roasted notes from the oak ageing. The aromas are echoed on the palate, which is smooth with fine-grained tannins and a long finish. An elegant expression of Tempranillo.

| Winery | The grapes come from a few select vineyards, from vines with an average age of 40. The vines are carefully cultivated throughout the year with patience, specialised craftsmanship and manual work. Emphasis is placed on keeping the vine healthy, with winter pruning, bunching and shoot thinning all taking place to capture the personality of the terroir. The grapes are hand-harvested. They follow a philosophy of keeping yields low and strive to keep the soils healthy, which allows the production of an intense, concentrated and long-lasting wine. |
