Bodegas Ondarre Bodegas Ondarre was founded in 1985, with the aim of creating wines which showcase the region’s distinct terroirs. Situated in the town of Viana overlooking the Rioja Valley in Rioja Oriental, Bodegas Ondarre is the only winery in the village of Viana. They have formed trusted relationships with the highest quality growers in the area, with whom they have been working since their inception. The Reservas are Bodegas Ondarre’s most acclaimed wines, which win top awards and critical approval every year. They attribute their success to hard work in the vineyards and their continual investment in the winery and barrel stock. They use both French and American oak casks to help them obtain the character in their wines. They also produce a few thousand cases of a single varietal Graciano - a real rarity due to the low yielding nature of this variety. Finca Bacara Finca Bacara is based in DO Jumilla in Southeastern Spain, a region characterised by its high elevation plains and valleys. Finca Baraca follows a philosophy that wines are inextricably linked to the land and are therefore committed to developing them with minimal impact on the environment. The vineyards are farmed organically, and they hold the ISO14001 Environmental certification. The vines are planted at 900 metres elevation and produce vibrant, fresh fruit. Winemaker Luis Javier Pérez has crafted an original series based on the philosophy that ‘Time Waits for No-One’ encouraging us to live every moment - time cannot be recovered. The idiosyncratically packaged wines are fruit-driven, highly original and like time, they are to be enjoyed and cherished. La Rioja Alta S.A. Combining tradition and state-of-the-art technology, La Rioja Alta, S.A. is an iconic, world-class producer of classically-styled Reserva and Gran Reserva wines which undergo considerable cask-ageing in order to achieve La Rioja Alta S.A.'s renowned style. La Rioja Alta, S.A. was founded in 1890, in the old railway quarter of Haro, by five families including the Aranas, the Ardanzas and the Alberdis - their names are now celebrated on each of the Reserva wines. The company gradually expanded, and in 1996 a new purpose-built winery in Labastida was completed, focussing on improving quality and enabling the purest expressions of fruit to be showcased in the wines. Oak is at the heart of the ageing process, and La Rioja Alta, S.A. boasts its own in-house coopers who use artisanal methods to produce their own barrels from wood imported from the US and air-dried on site in Haro. Traditional manual racking takes place by candlelight every six months, and the vines are sustainably farmed. Their award-winning wines consistently receive accolades world-wide and in 2022, La Rioja Alta, S.A. was declared the ‘World’s Fourth Most Admired Wine Brand’ by Drinks International.
