Domaine Taupenot-Merme Nuits St Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers 2019 2019 Nuits St. Georges Les Pruliers A top note of herbal tea is present on the earthy and markedly sauvage-inflected aromas of red and dark currant with a smoky nuance. The denser if less refined medium weight-plus flavors exhibit a taut muscularity along with focusing powerfully on the sappy, serious, youthfully austere, and impressively long finish where the only reproach is a touch of warmth.
This is always one of Taupenot's best wines, certainly among the 1ers, and 2019 is no different. 93 points Allen Meadows, Burghound /2030+
