- I have had mixed results with the '94 LT, as a few bottles have displayed an annoying level of volatile acidity along with evident stem influence on the otherwise aromatically pretty floral and spice scents. However, there are also under-ripe fruit nuances. The still attractively vibrant, stony, and complex middle-weight flavours coat the mouth, though the back end displays more than a trace of astringency and a healthy dose of austerity. In sum, this is perfectly good for the vintage, but even so, it's not exceptional.
