Winery	Vins Rijckaert was founded in 1998 by passionate Flemish winemaker Jean Rijckaert. He established his domain with four hectares in the Mâconnais and five hectares in the Jura, making him the first person to produce wines simultaneously in both regions. In 2013 Jean met his alter ego Florent Rouve, a fellow winemaker who became Jean’s protégé. He gradually passed his savoir-faire and philosophy to Florent and eventually transferred the business. Florent has continued to develop the style of Vins Rijckaert wines with his signature, balancing their natural richness with great freshness and precision.
