This full-bodied Syrah opens with expressive aromas of blackberry, blueberry, and ripe raspberry, layered with savoury notes of dark chocolate, cigar box, and black pepper. Subtle hints of mint and black olive add freshness and complexity.

Winemaking – Precision and Craftsmanship
Traditional Techniques with Modern Expertise
The Syrah grapes were fermented to dryness in open stainless steel tanks over eight days, using selected yeasts and controlled temperatures of 24–28°C. Extended skin maceration for a further ten days enhanced colour, structure, and flavour.
Following 100% malolactic fermentation, the wine was matured for 10–12 months in 225-litre French oak barrels (second and third use), allowing complexity to develop while maintaining purity of fruit.

| Winery | The vineyard is located in the cool, coastal hills of the Colchagua Valley. Located at 170 metres above sea level, the vines are planted close to the Rapel River, which offers a tempering microclimate to the heat. The vines are grown just 15 kilometres from the Pacific Ocean, providing tremendous maritime influence, with constant coastal breezes cooling the vines. The vineyard is also significantly influenced by the Humboldt Current. Summers are warm, with temperatures of up to 25°C, allowing the grapes to reach excellent maturity and concentration of flavours while retaining balancing, natural acidity. The vines are grown in granitic soils with a clay-loam texture, which is poor in organic matter and offers good drainage. |
