Following a two-day cold maceration on the skins, fermentation occurred in a mix of stainless steel and concrete tanks at 28-2˚S5 with 10% French oak. 5losed and open pump-overs were used throughout fermentation, followed by a post-fermentation maceration of around fifteen days. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation occurred in concrete, and the wine was then aged in second and third-fill French oak barrels for 3 months.
Fresh raspberry aromas complement Malbec's trademark 9oral violet notes on the nose. The palate is round and soft, with gentle tannins to complement the fresh red and black fruit flavours and just a hint of vanilla, liquorice, and spice on the finish.

Winery | Pulenta Estate was founded in 2002 by brothers Hugo and Eduardo Pulenta, fourth-generation winemakers, to translate their family legacy and their father’s pioneering spirit into a modern, innovative winery that produces limited quantities of great wines. They have quickly carved out a reputation for precise, elegant wines across a range of varieties and premium price points. The estate consists of two vineyards in key areas of Mendoza: Finca La Zulema in Agrelo and Viñedos Don Antonio in Los Arboles, a district of the Uco Valley. These contrasting vineyards have complex alluvial soils and distinct altitudes that help give Pulenta wines their distinctive style when blended. |
