Winemaking and Terroir

Crafted from 25-year-old vines grown in the sun-drenched slopes of Söll, Tramin (500–550 metres above sea level), the grapes benefit from diurnal temperature shifts that enhance aromatic complexity and natural acidity. Rooted in calcareous gravel and loam, the vines are cultivated with no herbicides and traditional Guyot and Pergola methods.

Hand-harvested and whole-cluster pressed, fermentation and malolactic conversion took place in 40% new French barriques, followed by 11 months on fine lees and an additional 22 months of sur lie aging in stainless steel. The result is a wine of remarkable depth, purity, and texture.
