Tasting Notes
Aroma
The nose opens with a vibrant bouquet of crisp red apples, ripe peaches, and delicate white flowers, subtly accented by gentle spice and toasted notes from brief oak maturation. The interplay of fruit and spice creates a captivating aromatic profile that is both fresh and complex.
Palate
On the palate, the wine is broad, textural, and elegantly layered, revealing flavours of stone fruit, citrus peel, and a touch of minerality. Unlike traditional Burgundy whites, this Italian interpretation displays a unique depth and structure, supported by a clean, refreshing acidity. The finish is long and herbally fresh, leaving a lingering sense of sophistication.
Finish & Pairing
The crisp acidity (6.0 g/l) and balanced pH (3.05) lend precision and brightness to the wine’s rounded body. It pairs beautifully with grilled seafood, roasted poultry, creamy pasta dishes, and soft cheeses—making it an ideal companion for refined dining.
Winemaking & Maturation
Crafted exclusively from hand-selected Pinot Noir grapes, the Fattoria Mancini Impero Blanc de Pinot Noir 2024 is vinified as a white wine, showcasing the grape’s delicacy and finesse. After fermentation, it rests six months in bottle, allowing the flavours to harmonise and develop further depth before release.

| Winery | Fattoria Mancini is a family-owned winery, established in 1861. The vineyards are located in the Natural Park of Mount San Bartolo, north of the Marche Region. The cool microclimate of this stretch of north-orientated coast and the calcareous sandstone soil allows the production of long-lived wines with a great balance between structure, depth, freshness, and elegance. The principal grape variety is Pinot Noir, introduced into this area at the start of the nineteenth century by the Napoleonic administration. Other grape varieties cultivated are Sangiovese, Albanella, and Ancellotta. |
