| Winery | Cannonau is the most important and exclusive red wine grape native to Sardinia, as it is thought to be the oldest variety in the Mediterranean. The vineyard is located on a gentle slope between Alghero and Sassari. It sits atop a mixture of geological formations such as calcareous marne, conglomerate and sandstone. The vineyard is planted with a high density of vines. The newest innovations are implemented in cultivating the vineyard while respecting the traditions and ecosystem of the geographical location. Pruning and harvesting take place manually. The meticulous selection of grape clusters ensures optimum quality. |
