Produced by the renowned Masottina winery, this Prosecco is crafted from a blend of 85% Glera grapes and 15% other carefully selected varieties. With a refreshing dryness and an alcohol content of 11.5%, this Prosecco offers a delightful balance of crispness and creamy smoothness.
Tasting Notes
Visually, it presents a pale yellow hue with subtle greenish reflections and a fine, delicate mousse that lingers in the glass. On the nose, it is elegant and delicate, with vibrant fruit aromas. Initial notes of fresh grapes, Golden Delicious apples, and citrus hints of lime and pink grapefruit greet the senses. As it opens up, riper fruit flavours of pears, plums, and white melons emerge, alongside the floral fragrance of wisteria, offering complexity and depth.
On the palate, this Prosecco delivers a creamy mouthfeel and an intense expression, marked by a refined structure that carries through to the finish. It concludes with a harmonious and elegant finish, making it a truly exceptional sparkling wine experience.
The selected hand-picked grapes are vinified by gravity method and fermented off the skins at a controlled temperature of 15 - 18°C. The prise de mousse and lees maturation occur typically for approximately 90 days in pressure tanks, on selected yeasts, at a temperature of 13 - 14°C. The wine is aged for at least one month before distribution.
Pale yellow with greenish highlights and a fine, lingering mousse. It is delicate and refined on the nose with initial hints of fruit: grapes, Golden Delicious apples, lime and pink grapefruit, giving way to riper notes of pears, plums, white melons and wisteria. Creamy and intense in the mouth with good structure through to a harmonious and elegant finish.
