- This wine is very mineral in style with a rich savory and gamey nose. Elegant, supple, and poised in the mouth with delicate fruit and a fine, silky Burgundian feel.
Morey Saint Denis is one of the smallest communes in the Cote de Nuits, including 4 Grands Crus: Clos Saint-Denis, Clos de la Roche, Clos des Lambrays, Clos de Tart. The Clos de la Roche vineyard is situated on the Morey Saint Denis commune (Northern part) and very close to the border of the Grands Crus vineyards of Gevrey Chambertin.

| Winery | It is the biggest of the 4 Grands Crus (17 ha) and it is facing East. The grapes bear small little dark red berries. The bunches are destemmed; they macerate in open vats for 4 weeks helping this subtle terroir to reveal itself. After de-vatting, the wines are aged in oak barrels for 18 months. |
