2011 Charmes-Chambertin: (from a 1.4 ha parcel of roughly 20-year-old vines that is situated one-third in Charmes proper and the remainder in Mazoyres). In contrast to the reduction present in the prior wines, this is really quite aromatically lovely with its expressive nose of very fresh red berry fruit, earth, and humus scents.
