It is noticeably bricking, though, with a still healthy ruby core. An expressive nose offers notes of sous-bois, ripe black fruits, and perfumed aromas of fresh flowers, Asian spices, and earth. There is a good focus on the rich, solidly well-concentrated, and relatively powerful flavours, balanced and harmonious while terminating in a focused and impressively lingering finish where the supporting tannins are largely resolved. For my taste, this has peaked, though it should continue to hold at this level for another decade, perhaps even longer.
