| Winery | Trebbiano Spoletino is a native Umbrian white grape. The vineyard is situated in the DOC Colli Martani and DOC Montefalco, directly opposite the hill town of Assisi in Central Umbria. The hilly terrain has mineral-rich, clay-calcareous soils with good water retention properties to sustain the vines through the long, hot summers. The vineyard benefits from gentle breezes in this hillside location, which aerate the vines, keeping them healthy. The Guyot-trained vines are planted at a density of 4,600 vines per hectare and produce low yields. The vineyard is cultivated to ensure the soil is balanced, biodiversity is preserved, and the grapes are hand-harvested in the early morning to maintain freshness and fully express the land's essence. |
