Vineyard Origins and Winemaking

The grapes for this Chianti Classico come from organically farmed vineyards at elevations of 250–330 metres. The soil is composed of clay loam and limestone, offering excellent drainage and mineral complexity. Traditional massal selection techniques help preserve the genetic diversity of the estate’s old vines. Hand-harvested fruit undergoes wild yeast fermentation and gentle maceration, followed by ageing in large French and Austrian oak casks for 12 months.
