| Winery | The fruit comes from vineyards in the Valle de Maule and the Valle de Colchagua. In the Valle de Maule, the ancient soils are made up of granitic sandy loam, which is formed from granite from the Coastal Mountains. The soils are mineral-rich and full of quartz, enabling the vines to express their full fruit potential. In the Valle de Colchagua, the alluvial soil offers excellent drainage properties, oxygenation and deep development of the vine roots, creating exceptional conditions for producing high-quality fruit. The Valle de Maule and Valle de Colchagua benefit from Mediterranean climates, with cold and rainy winters contrasting with hot and dry summers. The lack of rainfall continues throughout the growth period, which forces the vines to send their roots deeper into the soil in search of water and nutrients, resulting in complexity in the wine. |
