Winery	The grapes for this wine are grown in various selected vineyard sites, mostly from the Barolo area and a minor part from Barbaresco, which, when blended, form the Langhe DOC. The vineyard’s soils consist of marl, a combination of limestone and clay, and the Nebbiolo variety has found its home on the rolling hills of the Langhe. The climate is Mediterranean, with an extended summer and autumn, enabling the fickle Nebbiolo to achieve perfect ripeness. Influence from the Alps, with cool mountainous airstreams, create high diurnal temperature swings, resulting in a long hang time in which the grapes build aromatic complexity and achieve balancing acidity. The vineyard sustains and hand-harvests the vines when each parcel has achieved optimal ripeness.
