| Winery | The grapes are selected from the single vineyard Scarrone in Castiglione Falletto, in the Barbera d'Alba DOC. The vineyard is planted at a density of 6,500 plants per hectare and has a southeastern orientation, which allows the vines to optimize exposure to the warm afternoon summer sun. The soils are rich in limestone and clay, in which the Barbera vines produce elegant and balanced wines. The vines are sustainably cultivated and are manually harvested when the fruit has reached optimum phenolic ripeness. |
