| Winery | The grapes for this wine come from the ‘Roncaglie’ Menzioni Geografiche Aggiuntive (MGA), which is a specifically delineated vineyard in the municipality of Barbaresco, which has always been recognized as one of the most premium areas. The combination of the limestone and clay-rich soils, the south-to-south-westerly orientation benefits from optimal exposure to the ripening sun, and the elevation at approximately 280 meters above sea level combine to produce beautifully balanced and refined Barbarescos. The average age of Guyot-cultivated vines is around 34 years, and they are planted at a density of around 4,600 vines per hectare. The vines are sustainably cultivated and manually harvested. |
