Winery | The fruit for this wine was selected from vineyards across Marlborough sub-regions, predominantly the lower Wairau Valley subregion. In this region, the synergy of climate and soil come together to produce wines with extraordinary purity of fruit. Situated in the northeastern corner of New Zealand's South Island, the vineyards are surrounded by the Pacific Ocean to the east and hinterland mountain ranges to the north and south. The vines are pruned using three or four-cane vertical shoot positioning (VSP). Each vineyard yield is managed appropriately and depends on the ability to ripen grapes to the desired flavour spectrum. |
