| Winery | The grapes are grown in a vineyard facing east and southeast, which optimises the vine's exposure to the sun. The vines are planted in white soils which are mainly composed of limestone and a small amount of clay, which help to impart elegance and freshness to the resulting wine. Michele Chiarlo is one of Piedmont's most prestigious winemakers, producing outstanding wines from some of the most exceptional sites in Piedmont, including Barolo’s world-famous Cannubi and Cerequio vineyards.
