Matias Riccitelli is a rising star in the world of Argentine wine. As the son of legendary winemaker Jorge Riccitelli, Matias blends tradition with innovation. After working at elite wineries both in Argentina and abroad, he founded his own winery in 2009. His dynamic, small-batch project is focused on expressing the purity of Argentine terroir, especially in high-altitude sites.

Vineyard & Terroir

High-Altitude Excellence Across Three Distinct Sites

• Gualtallary (Sauvignon Blanc) – Grown at 1,400m in calcareous soils. Produces fresh, aromatic fruit.

• La Consulta (Semillon) – 50-year-old vines planted at 1,000m in sandy soils. Low yields deliver depth and intensity.

• La Carrera (Chardonnay) – The highest vineyard at 1,700m with gravelly, sandy soils. Adds minerality and elegance.

Winemaking Philosophy

The hand-harvested grapes were gently sorted and fermented with native yeasts in temperature-controlled concrete eggs to retain the vibrant aromatics and freshness. The wine was then matured for eight months in concrete eggs, enhancing its texture while preserving a natural purity and energy.
