Kooyong Single Block Ferrous Pinot Noir 2021 is a premium single-vineyard wine from the renowned Mornington Peninsula, Australia. Sourced from a unique 0.79-hectare block of 24-year-old vines, this wine represents the pinnacle of Kooyong’s terroir-driven winemaking. With a southeast-facing slope, excellent drainage, and a rare concentration of ironstone pebbles in the soil, the site naturally produces low-yield, high-intensity fruit.

This small-batch Pinot Noir undergoes wild fermentation in large-format wooden vats, using ambient yeasts and partial whole-bunch inclusion. After 17 days on skins, it is pressed and matured in French oak barriques (20% new), undergoing spontaneous malolactic fermentation. It is aged for 14 months and bottled unfined and unfiltered for purity and depth.
