Tasting Notes
The 2008 Méo-Camuzet Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Cros Parantoux delivers airy, ripe, and elegant aromatics with superb concentration. Its complex nose exudes spicy purple fruit, subtle oak, and refined floral notes. On the palate, it's intensely dense, mouth-coating, and structured, offering layered flavours of dark cherry, earth, and mineral stoniness.
Expect a textured, persistent, and beautifully balanced finish, which not only defines the essence of Vosne-Romanée but promises exceptional ageing potential for decades to come.
"The ripe and cool spicy purple fruit is incredibly dense, nuanced, and complex… This stains and drenches the palate… Superb."
— Allen Meadows, Burghound (92-95 Points)

Winery | 40+ year old vines. Airy, ripe, elegant, and dense aromas are actually pure, as moderate wood does not interfere, and one can smell the concentration, as the ripe and cool spicy purple fruit is incredibly dense, nuanced, and complex. The rich, dense and mouth-coating flavours are focused and beautifully detailed as this stains and drenches the palate with seductive pinot extract and culminates in a textured, structured, stony and superbly long finish that should be capable of extended ageing. It's terrific, and this is also very Vosne. *Outstanding* 92-95 points Allen Meadows, Burghound (1/2010)
