  • A refined and pure Chablis with pronounced citrus aromas, a light mineral character, and a characteristic saline note. A good weight on the palate leads to a long finish with a delicious hint of almond. A classic Chablis with a mouthwatering razor-sharp finish.

The grapes were harvested at optimum maturity and fermented with natural yeast in temperature-controlled vats using organic principles. Philippe believes in highlighting terroir, and he produces his wines in an unoaked style, allowing them to reveal the purity, minerality and vitality of the soil. A restricted use of sulphur was used during the vinification, and the wine was lightly filtered before bottling. It spent six months resting in stainless steel vats.

This is a refined and pure Chablis with pronounced citrus aromas, a light mineral character, and a characteristic saline note. Its good weight on the palate leads to a long finish with a delicious hint of almond. It's a Classic Chablis.

Domaine Jean Goulley was formed in 1986 by Jean Goulley and is now run by his granddaughter, Maud. In January 2022, Maud took over from her father, Philippe, who was involved in the estate for nearly 40 years. The family owns 4.5 hectares in the Premier Cru appellations, which are the heart and soul of the Domaine. They own approximately 18 hectares in total. 1991 the Domaine became one of Chablis's first certified organic producers. All vineyards are farmed organically, and the wines are produced with restricted use of sulphur. The Goulley family believes that organic farming methods permit expressive and sustainable soil. Their wines are mineral, pure and lively.

Philippe and Maud Goulley believe in organic farming and minimal intervention; all of their vineyards are certified organic. The double Guyot-trained vines are grown in Kimmeridgian soils, rich in clay and limestone and contain fossilised seashells. The yields are kept to a maximum of 60 hectolitres per hectare.
