Winery | The vineyard is located in the heart of the Sancerre appellation, and the soil is a blend of the three main soils typical of the region: clayey-siliceous, silex and clayey chalk. Biodynamic techniques are employed in the vineyard. The vines are cultivated naturally, with ploughing, hoeing and short pruning. The environment and biodiversity are respected when protecting the vineyard against disease, fertilisers have not been used for many years, and products containing harmful chemicals are also not employed. Maintaining the terroir most naturally encourages the most authentic expression of the Sancerre terroir. Following a philosophy of working with a low carbon footprint, the vineyard consumes the least energy possible. |
